Cycled over to La Giardia Ariport, packed up the bikes, installed new chains and flew to Montreal. Got the bikes back at Dorval and found Linda's had been damaged. Somehow they'd applied enough force to a gear cable that it snapped completely. Brake pads also wrecked. Not very encouraging. I made the necessary repairs and put the bikes back together, by which time JF had ridden out to meet us. Cycled back to Beaconsfield, enjoying ice creams on the way.
