Journal for 26-September-2004 : Tremblay-en-France (Paris) |
---|
On Sunday morning in France all the big boxes were closed, but after walking for a while I found a street market being set up in the nearby apartment block sub-city, and got some much needed French pastries for breakfast.
A short little day of cycling, no rain, but lots of headwind again. We got a late start after waiting for it to warm up, which it didn't.
Managed to navigate our way back into Tremblay, with Linda complaining about the lack of available food. France really shuts down on Sunday. We found a Kebab restaurant, which might sound awful but in France these places usually have excellent food!
