Got up nice and early, before the sun (not that the sun came out today). Cycled back to Charles De Gaul Airport. It was rather a different experience in the drizzly rain on a busy autumn Tuesday morning, rather than the quiet Sunday afternoon when we arrived. CDG airport as filthy and disorganised as when we arrived, most uninspiring. SO it wasn't just my mood on arrival that gave me that perception. It realy was pretty grotty. However, we did get to see Tom Hanks living on one of the lower levels of the place. We were sorry to leave France, but greatly impressed by Singapore Airlines in-flight service. And indeed I watch the movie “The Terminal”, and got to see the movie version of the sorry character back at Paris' international terminal. << Prev - |
