| Date: 30/06/2001 (Location=Coolah, Dist=80km, Total=395km) A very cold night and an even colder morning. The sun was up for over an hour before we ventured outside, to see the ground caked in frost. Freezing start to the riding, the first hill (which I sprinted up) was a very welcome chance to warm up. Another loverly day. Rest area at "Golden Highway" had lost of free facilities - like hot water showers - vandalised beyond use. Slow going into the light breeze and rouch chipsealroad to Coolah. Lazed in the warm sun in the town park. A relief map is displayed in the town park which shows Coolah at 600m asl. We found out it was -6Deg C here this morning. We vow to make a later start tomorow.
