Highway riding all the way to Coffs Harbour. Highway varied between excellent and appalling. Either way we didn't get to see much other than bitumen. Linda lead briefly, and took us onto a bike path detour. Unlike my detours which went up and over hill's, Linda's lead us to a set of stairs. Rode up and down the Coffs section of the Highway looking for the tourist information centre, and then lodgings. Three motels told us off about bikes in the room before we'd managed to check in. This was nice of them, sort of, though not exactly great business. Showers were forecast for today, but it was warm an sunny again. Very pleasant afternoon spent browsing the bookshops and strolling through the Botanical Gardens. << Prev - Next >> |
