Slept in, then spent the morning wandering about Brisbane's South Bank district enjoying the glorious weather. For Sydney siders, its Brisbane's answer to Darling Harbour: an old goods yard converted into an entertainment precinct. After a lazy lunch by the Brisbane river at the Botanical Gardens, we caught the train over to Alderly to have a wonderful evening catching up with old friends.
