Went down to the post office to collect the bike spares sent last week. Not there yet. We completed some of our tax affairs. These definitely did arrive. "A week to ten days" they tell me. It's unbelievably hot here. In the shade, away from the cement, it's a manageable +34C, with next to no humidity. Walking on the pavement around town in the tropical sun is like strolling through an oven. We enjoyed dinner with Monika and Alois, a Swiss couple touring the world by bike. They are about to head off to Darwin via Kakadu, the lucky buggers. << Prev - Next >> |
