I after sun up, got out of bed 20 minutes later, at 5:15am! Could still hear the cat stuck up the tree. With just a short day we left Coolgardie quite late, and blew into Kal on the back of a tailwind, the last we can expect for a while. Got a CD of our photos burned (at last) at the Internet Café. Met up with Linda's Mum and Dad, who have made the trip out here especially to see us! (Actually they've come to see Linda's sister, but we'll let that slide). We all went out for dinner and after much indecision about the venue we enjoyed an excellent meal. Good quantities too :- ). My legs are so sore today I can hardly walk. Cycling is OK, but the few little hills we covered today were enough to remind us we need a day off !!! We are staying in some rather spartan backpacker's accommodation, as the great Kalgoorlie Goldfields Mining Expo is on this week. Everything with a roof and most things without has been booked out by hardy, horny rock enthusiasts. << Prev - Next >> |
