Relatively straight forward if uninspiring riding in the bike lanes along the Bellarine Highway to Queenscliff where we caught the ferry across "the rip" to the other side of ort Philip Bay. This is (also) Melbourne's playground, and it was rather busy, and rather crowded - especially as this is a Saturday. Too busy and crowded for Linda, who wanted to stop early - a rather tricky proposition given there was nowhere to stay and nowhere to camp.
