Sort of a day off. We enjoyed watching the Tour De France on cable TV, did the laundry, cycled out to the underwhelming Pebbly Beach on Lake Superior, then spent a delightful afternoon in the warm summer sun (yes, summer has arrived, should last clear through till Thursday) in the park by Penn Lake. Not much respect shown to us on Marathon's narrow roads for some reason, but we had no real dramas. In the afternoon we cycled back up the hill into the wind out to the highway. It wasn't all that far, but pretty hard. Certainly pretty hard for a rest day. Anyway, back to the hard stuff for tomorrow. << Prev - Next >> |
