Journal for 3-Mar-2004 : Motueka |
---|
Greeted by a nice sunny morning, with something looking remarkably like frost on the glistening grass in the morning. New Zealand can be awfully beautiful on a nice day. It's been pretty ugly so far.
Apart from one savage little hill, the road gently descended next to the Motueka River past hops vinyards (an attraction that should be promoted in Australia: a vinyard that makes beer!) and quaint little farms.
Made it to town early enough to organise a few days tramping up the Abel Tasman track.
