| Date: 29/06/2001 (Location=Gulgong, Dist=0km, Total=314km) Gulgong is an historic little town that really looks like an historic little town. Pretty much all of the buildings were constructed during the gold rush of the 1870s, and there hasn't been any need to build any new ones. It's the sort of place all the locals slow down (from 30kph to 10kph) to checkout the exciting new development in town, a ditch for a new telephone cable.
