| Date: 01/08/2001 (Location=Katherine, Dist=107km, Total=3930km) Dark clouds over the horizon this morning. Not pending rain, but multiple scrub fires pumping huge plumes of smoke into the atmosphere. Katherine seems twice the town it was 2 years ago.
